A 90-minute version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream with hip-hop fairies and multimedia design! In the darkest corners of Central Park, two sets of lovers pursue their star-crossed desires. Helena loves Demetrius and Hermia loves Lysander--but Hermia's father insists she marry Demetrius. The lovers flee this tyranny and take refuge in the woods, where they encounter feuding fairies and a bumbling group of gardeners-turned-actors. Add the mischievous nymph, Puck, armed with a purple love potion that makes anyone fall in love with the first person they see (no matter how unsuitable) and you have a delightful mix of fun, chaos and fantasy!
